Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director, and supermodel. Known for her elegant beauty her longevity in the highly competitive film industry reflects her skills and talent as a performer. In the late 1970s, she began her modeling career and quickly became a prominent actor in the field. She was a theatre and acting student at the start of the decade, before starring on stages throughout Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Russo made her screen debut on ABCs drama show Sable in 1987. She played the character Eden Kendell. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. Her character was a constant delight to the hearts of critics who were wary of her performance. Her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was praised by people who were critical of her performance, because she stood in the way of Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. In spite of this, she admits to not having a passion for the acting. She took a self-imposed long vacation in 2005. Then she returned with a role in the action film Thor. The film also featured her in the Oscar winner film Nightcrawler that was written and directed by her husband. The Intern was her first funny and lighthearted film. She went on to be in Just Getting Started and other comedies.

Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success in the UFC. Her career began in amateur boxing, where she competed for various regional promotions. Then, she signed with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Namajunas has earned a great deal in recognition since joining UFC due to both her success both inside and outside of the Octagon's octagon. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. She first made it to the ring professionally at age 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she was able to win two matches by submission. The fights caught the eye of Dana White who signed her for UFC s strawweight division in December of 2014 when she was only 22 years old. Rose's professional career has experienced extremes, as well as lows and she's in a position to emerge from it with a win. Rose has fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was awarded an award of the Women s Strawweight Championship and she also took home the Fighter of the Night. It was also the first female to have competed against a major promotion title. Namajunas was able to record many other victories, including 2 victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
